About the Event

An online ritual movement & breath inquiry to honor the rising energy of the spring season. A wonderful opportunity to enjoy a longer dive time. In this workshop we will be exploring the spring season as it lives and moves in our soma, drawing from the poetry and wisdom of traditional Taoist medicine. The living wood element — the elemental correspondence of springtime — is the phase of upwards and outwards growth, celebrating the re-activation of the yang life force that yields birth, growth and creativity. The living wood element expresses the double-sided theme of vivacious hope and tender vulnerability. Embodying the wood element offers us the capacity to unite opposites within and to root our creative expression in the fertile soil of the earth.
